Monuments

Monuments

  • Monuments and markers can be made of marble, granite, and bronze.
  • There are three basic types of monuments: Upright, Slant, and Flat.
  • The cost of a monument is mainly affected by three factors: material, size, and options such as vases/pictures etc.

Ordering

To order a monument for our cemetery, you must contact a monument dealer in the area to make and install the monument.  Park View does not accept delivery of monuments from online retailers, so it's best if you deal with a monument company in our local area, as they will need to install it on the grave site.  Park View does not install monuments.  Each monument company in our area is familiar with our approval process and monument application.

It is very important that you and your monument company get an approved monument application BEFORE making anything.  You do not want to have a monument manufactured only to be told later that it does not conform to the rules and regulations of the cemetery.  If a monument does not conform to the rules and regulations, it will not be allowed to be installed.  For this reason, be sure to have your monument company submit the monument application PRIOR to manufacturing anything.

Monument applications or general monument questions may be sent to monuments@parkviewmortuary.com.  Staff in the office will not be able to answer questions about specific plots and the various monument regulations, so please email any questions you have to the above email address.
