Obituary for LaVinea Earline Martin

Monday, April 20th, 1953 Lavinea Earline Martin was born in Merced, Ca to the blessed parents Wanda and Paul Martin, later step-daughter to Carl Elmore. She was the sibling of Paul Jr., Tommy, Bobby, Tony, Nena, Paula, and Joyce. She was a proud and loving Aunt and great Aunt. She was wife to Larry Butt and a proud Mother to Wanda and Tina, and Mother-in-law to Steven and Timothy. During her lifetime she became the grandmother to Larry, Jocelyn, Adrianna, Jacqueline and Kali; later, great-grandmother to Preston.
She lived the majority of her life in Tuolumne County and Calaveras County. Her life was dedicated to her family sharing her love for them and the Lord, her faith was always strong. She experienced sorrow, and hardship as her physical condition had its limitations on how she was able to live her life. Still, she brought joy, laughter, and encouragement to each and every person she met every single day of her life.
On Monday, October 15th, 2018 she left her physical life and entered into her eternal spiritual journey, as the bible said she will rest from her labor. She will be missed greatly from her role as mother, daughter, sister, wife, (great) aunt, (great) grandmother, and friend. From now on, she flies high at home with the lord and watches over us as our angel and protector. She will live on in our hearts now and until the end of time. Rest in Paradise, with love, from each and everyone's heart.
