Condolence From: Sheri Lopez
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Dr. Purewal’s family. I used to work at DHM and I remember when Dr.Purewal would go by Ali’s coffee cart and have his coffee and biscotti and he would come by the departments and say hi, even if he didn’t have a patient on our floor he still would come and say hi. I remember when he got his Tesla and couldn’t wait to show us at work. He was so happy, then he knew my daughters were getting married and he invited us to his winery to have her bachelorette party. I didn’t go but I sure regret that. We never know when our time is up and either way it’s so hard the pain of grief is sometimes unbearable but I pray for his family to be strong and Dr. Purewal will always be watching over you. He was such a sweet man.

Condolence From: Judy Lyles
Condolence: To the Family and Friends of Dr Purewal and Nicole,

Our deepest condolences...we are so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult to believe he is really gone. We have known Dr P for 12 years and over all those years a lot of the changes in his office and his life that we saw and he shared with us. He lovingly referred to us as his 2fers and enjoyed discussing the various shared interests we had with him. He cared about his patients tremendously and enjoyed so much in life as you see from the many tributes on his Memory Wall. It was so great to see the change in him and how much happier he was since he met you Nicole.

We wish all his family, friends and patients peace at this difficult time. I am grateful we were lucky enough to have our special memories of Dr P to hold forever in our hearts...

Lovingly his 2fers,
Leonard & Judy Lyles

Condolence: My Deepest condolences to the family. I used to work with Dr. Purewal at Dameron Hospital. He was such a loving and caring Dr. always went out of his way to say hello to me. We became pretty good friends. We spoke of his travels around the world, the work he did wit Mother Theresa and the wineries in Napa and his trips to Carmel for the weekend. I was stunned to hear of his sudden death. I still am there are so many things I want to say bit everyone knows what an Angel he was
to everyone, no matter what race gender or financial status he was kind to everyone. I had the pleasure of not only working with Dr. Purewal but becoming his friend. I am truly blessed to have crossed his path he helped me in my life. I will forever be grateful to him and he will always have a pla e in my heart. You will be missed Dr. Purewal.

Condolence From: Debra Garcia
Condolence: I have had the privilege of being one of Prabs many friends for 25 years. There were three of us at Dameron going through divorces; Dr. Chris Hudlin, Prab and I were the 3 amigos. So many wonderful memories flood my mind and although I’m deeply saddened by this loss (Chris passed a few years ago) I know that Prab lived life to the fullest. I’m just sorry that he wasn’t able to enjoy more time with Nicole, she was perfect for him and he was so happy. He will be forever missed but his memory will live on in all of us that knew him. Until we meet again my friend. Debra Garcia

Condolence: Purewal Thank you! It has been just over ten years that I walked into your life and office. You were truly a blessing to all your patients. And you will be missed dearly. I remember our first conversation, you told me two things that day; 1) buy a blonde wig because you love blondes, and 2) I will save you life. Well you did, twice and I will always be grateful the care you have given me. I so happy that you were having the time of your life. In your line of work, you don"t always get happy endings. I'm glad you did.

Condolence: Prabhjit and I were classmates in med school in India. It was a large class and although I knew of Prabhjit and could easily recognize him, we never as much as exchanged a word during those years. Then life happened and our paths next crossed in 2001 as I live in the Bay Area too. Over the last eighteen years we developed a close friendship which started with nothing other than the foundation of a common Alma Mater. People have god-mothers and god-fathers. I had no need for those. For the last eighteen years of my life, Prabhjit was my god-brother and always introduced me as his god-sister. My daughter, Sonia, was his his-daughter. The loss of my rock-solid best friend is a huge blow to me. He leaves a void in my life that can never be filled. I am so sorry he is gone. I am so sorry he is gone. My deepest condolences to everyone else who loved him.
